Explore Ireland with Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Top O’ The Morning to Ya! It’s time to explore the Emerald Isle that is Ireland. Known for its lush green rolling hills and historic castles, Ireland provides the most beautiful landscapes to explore by the road. So grab the keys to your Enterprise Rent-A-Car car and explore the magic of this misty masterpiece. Legend has it that to bring the luck of the Irish to your journey, you have to start by kissing the Blarney Stone. It’s held atop the famous Blarney Castle in Cork, built around 1446 for the McCarthy Clan. After you’ve puckered yourself out, take a short trip over to the city of Limerick. Here you’ll discover everything from the Limerick Museum to King John’s Castle, more than 800 years old, yet filled with modern 3-D experiences. If you’re looking for some of the most stunning views that Mother Nature has to offer, look no further than the Cliffs of Moher. Stretching more than 5 miles across the coast of the Atlantic and over 700 feet above it, a clear day will give you views of the Aran Islands and Galway Bay, as well as the Twelve Pins and the Maum Turk mountains in Connemara, Loop Head to the south and the Dingle Peninsula and Blasket Islands in Kerry. It’s no wonder more than 1 million people visit the Cliffs each year. If you want to experience something a little different, head over to Galway, The City of Tribe and the festival capital of Ireland. This Bohemian getaway is known for its bustling arts scene and for the number of festivals it has. The most famous being the Galway Art Festival, which brings more than 150,000 people to this small town. Head to Northern Ireland and you’ll be able to drive through part of the 7 Kingdoms of the Game of Thrones, including Castle Ward, which is the prime location for the setting of Winterfell, home of the Starks. Dublin, the capital of Ireland, is one of the main areas to visit in Ireland. If you’re a literature buff, make sure to visit the home of Oscar Wilde. Don’t forget to stop at the many historic medieval buildings such as the Dublin castle and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. A trip throughout Ireland will leave you with memories that will last you a life time.
