M50 Motorway – Flat Fee Per Crossing

This toll road uses a barrier-free tolling system with no payment facilities at the toll point. For your convenience, we have prearranged with the M50 toll processor to immediately pay all tolls on your behalf; please do not attempt to pay any M50 tolls yourself as this may result in duplicate payments that we cannot identify or refund. Tolls matched to your rental will be recharged to the card provided by you for your rental agreement at the standard cash toll tariff rate by vehicle class as outlined below; there are no additional administrative fees for M50 tolls. Toll invoices are processed after the end of your rental, depending on when we are invoiced by the tolling agency and our tolls partner, usually within 4 – 6 weeks. All Other Irish Toll Roads

There are over 450km of barriered toll roads, bridges and tunnels across Ireland where drivers are required to use an approved transponder or to pay an onsite attendant prior to crossing. Our ExpressToll Program allows you to use our installed transponders on these barriered roads – we will pay the tolls on your behalf and generate a consolidated ExpressToll invoice that includes your tolls along with our Service Fee plus VAT*. You are not required to use our ExpressToll program and may instead choose to pay for each toll at the point of service; additional details below.

EXPRESSTOLL

For a daily fee we will pay the tolls on your behalf and generate a consolidated invoice that includes your tolls and service fees plus VAT*.

Service Fee - €3.95 per day not to exceed €19.75 per rental period + VAT*

• If you add ExpressToll to your rental contract you will pay the Service Fee along with your rental charges
• If you opt-in to ExpressToll by activating the installed transponder you will pay the Service Fee along with your tolls on a separate ExpressToll Invoice
• Service Fee billed per rental day regardless of toll usage – maximum of 5 days per rental period

ExpressToll Invoices are debited or charged to the card provided by you for your rental agreement, usually 4 – 6 weeks after your rental ends. More information on coverage, pricing and copies of toll invoices available at ExpressTollGo.

*Some rental offices may be subject to Premium Location Fees in addition to VAT

SELF-PAY

You may pay for tolls on barriered roads at the time of your crossing.

• Keep the installed transponder in a closed position
• Use the “Attendant” lane to pay your tolls directly to the tolling agency and keep your receipt

Our vehicles are registered to tolling accounts for all barriered tolls in Ireland. Some toll lanes may have cameras that lift a barrier for recognized registration plates – if this happens but you have not added ExpressToll to your rental and the transponder remains in a closed position we will pay the toll on your behalf and recharge you using the card provided by you for your rental agreement. Under these circumstances you will not be charged a Service Fee, you will only be recharged for the toll. Tolls are billed at the highest, undiscounted cash rate, usually 4 – 6 weeks after your rental ends. More information and copies of toll invoices available at ExpressTollGo.
